The Paradise Crossed $1 Million Before Nani Even Walked Onscreen
Nani's The Paradise crossed $1 million in North American premiere pre-sales hours before its September 24 release, setting a new overseas benchmark for the actor.

The first public premieres were still hours away when The Paradise crossed $1 million in North American advance sales. By Wednesday evening, Nani's biggest film was already past a milestone that no previous release of his had reached this early.
The cleanest late-stage figure came from North America. Koimoi reported $1.11 million in premiere pre-sales, including about $1.03 million from the United States and roughly 45,200 tickets. Sacnilk independently reported essentially the same final North American total and 45,610 U.S. tickets, so Chitram should preserve the $1.11 million figure as a dated pre-sale observation rather than a final box-office receipt.
What matters most is the scale change for Nani. These were his career-best North American premiere advances before audiences had even had a chance to respond to the film. That makes tonight's number interesting for a reason bigger than the number itself: The Paradise entered release night with Nani operating at a substantially larger overseas opening scale than before.
The number that matters next arrives after people actually see the movie. Advance sales can measure anticipation; they cannot measure word of mouth. But before that verdict arrived, The Paradise had already given Nani the largest pre-release North American moment of his career.
