Someone Turned ‘Chuttamalle’ Into AI Abuse. Jr NTR Says He’s Taking Legal Action.

Jr NTR opened Saturday with three words: “Disgusting. Sick. Shameless.” He was responding to an AI-morphed version of Chuttamalle that manipulates footage of Janhvi Kapoor from Devara: Part 1. NTR said he would pursue every possible legal action against people who created and circulated it, and specifically asked users not to watch, share or engage with the material.

The abusive fake borrows the visual identity of a very real, very public song. The original Chuttamalle was released by T-Series Telugu on August 5, 2024, featuring NTR and Janhvi. Anirudh Ravichander composed it, Shilpa Rao sang it and Ramajogayya Sastry wrote the Telugu lyrics. The manipulated material circulating now is not film footage, an alternate cut or promotional content released by the Devara team.

NTR also pushed the issue beyond one co-star. He urged state governments and the Government of India to act strongly and bring stricter rules against AI misuse. That is his demand for government action — not an announcement that new regulation has already been enacted. Janhvi has also publicly asked people not to create or circulate AI-generated fakes.

For a star whose fandom can turn a song into a huge online event, the most useful instruction in his statement may be the least exciting one: don’t help the fake travel.
