Mythri and Lokesh Just Announced a Mystery Deal. No, They Didn’t Say It’s Rolex.

Mythri Movie Makers put its name beside Lokesh Kanagaraj’s G Squad and supplied just enough information to start a guessing game. The companies announced a collaboration promising “fresh energy and powerful stories,” then ended with two words that did most of the promotional work: “Updates coming soon.” They did not announce a movie title, cast, language, director or whether this is even a single-film arrangement.

That vacuum was immediately filled with LCU theories. Rolex and Benz appeared in fan speculation, but neither project has been connected to this deal by Mythri or G Squad. Lokesh’s role is also unknown: the announcement does not say whether he will direct, act, produce or participate in some other capacity. Treating any of those guesses as news would turn an intentionally mysterious announcement into a fabricated one.

There is one Telugu connection that is already real. Lokesh is attached to direct Allu Arjun in the Mythri-backed project currently known as AA23. That makes the G Squad announcement more intriguing without proving the two arrangements are the same thing. Cinema Express explicitly noted that the scope of the new partnership — one title or multiple projects, Tamil or Telugu, directing or producing — remains undisclosed.

So tonight’s story is not that Rolex has secretly landed at Mythri. It is that one of Telugu cinema’s biggest production companies and Lokesh’s own banner have formally put themselves together while withholding the answer everybody actually wants. Until the next announcement, the blank space is part of the campaign.
